New patron for the RNT: Colombian-born artist Victoria McDonnell

The Raymond Nicolet Trust is delighted to welcome as a new patron to the charity  Colombian-born artist Victoria McDonnell.

We are so proud to have you on the Team. Thank you.

Victoria McDonnell, a Colombian-born artist, now residing in the rural countryside of Norfolk, UK, began her artistic journey after graduating as a product designer from the University Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1990.

At the age of 28, Victoria relocated to the UK, facing the challenge of a language barrier. In response, she turned to the language without words - art. Art became a constant companion that deepened over time.

Inspired by almost everything, Victoria offers glimpses of familiarity in her subjects, inviting viewers to engage playfully while allowing ample room for personal exploration. Working across a diverse array of subjects in oils and acrylics, she unifies them through the lens of abstraction.
