A huge success for the Third Gala Dinner of the Raymond Nicolet Trust

Our third Gala Dinner was held in the stunning Fellows’ Dining Room at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge on Saturday, 25th June. More than 25 people attended, all very enthusiastic about the work the charity is doing in Serbia. Many offered their help and support for the charity’s future endeavors. All guests enjoyed themselves tremendously with the delicious food, and a warm atmosphere enlightened the entire evening.

We had the honour of hosting Miss Natasha Davidov, CEO of Davidov London Jewellery, who talked about the 8 levels of charity. Also, RNT member Dr. Aleksandra Vancevska, a scientist at the Francis Crick Institute in London, spoke about “What Your Nobel Prize Acceptance Speech Would Be”. Both talks were enjoyed by all, and a lively discussion followed. A massive thanks to both of them who travelled from London just for the evening. We are very grateful for their kindness.

A raffle was organized during the evening. Many thanks to Davidov London Jewellery for donating two of their unique functional pieces of jewellery - The Aska Maternity Movement Bracelets for the charity Gala Dinner’s raffle. Thanks to The Alliance Francaise in Cambridge for donating a whole semester of adult French language course worth £275, to Mrs Slavica Plemic for donating numerous wonderful paintings, to RNT member Dr Aleksandra Vancevska for donating free remote sessions of Vinyasa yoga, to Mr Mladen Jovasevic for kindly providing 6 bottles of Zubor sa Kablara rakija and to Mrs Tatjana Mitevska for donating a 3 nights stay at Villa Sofia in Zvinje, Herceg Novi.

A huge thank you to everybody for your generosity and support. We raised an incredible £565.30. You are all amazing. 100% of all proceeds will go to support our projects with the elementary school Sveti Sava in Bajina Basta. You are helping to make a difference in the lives of children in Serbia.

Thank you all for your loyalty, for your generosity, and for helping to make this evening a success!
