Delivery of New Year's Packages to the Children's Shelter

On December 26, the Serbian RNT team visited the Children's Shelter, bringing joy and warmth to the hearts of the children by handing over 52 New Year's packages. The visit, organized through the Belgrade Municipality of Zvezdara, was a beacon of hope and happiness for the young residents. The educators and children prepared an unforgettable reception, filling the air with laughter and songs. The children recited heartfelt poems, and as the visit came to an end, they presented certificates of appreciation to the Serbian team, a token of their gratitude for the long-term cooperation and support. A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Serbian RNT team for their generosity and to the staff for their warm welcome and dedication.

The Belgrade Children's Shelter, under the jurisdiction of the Secretariat for Social Protection of the City of Belgrade, is a sanctuary for the most vulnerable young people from Belgrade and across Serbia. It provides care and protection to children aged 7 to 18 who are victims of violence, abuse, neglect, human trafficking, and those without parental care or living in street situations. Since 1958, the shelter has been a pillar of hope, having cared for over 70,000 children, offering them a chance at a better future.

A huge thanks for putting a smile on the children’s faces and making this world a better place for all.
