The Raymond Nicolet Trust has recently financed the purchase of a £10,000 near new van to replace the Centre’s existing one that was 20 years old and highly unreliable. This van is essential for the transportation of children and meals between the school's two main sites and to external sporting events.
The Vuk Karadzic Center in Sombor will operate much easier now with this new acquisition, especially considering that the work of this institution is being carried out in two different facilities.
“This donation has provided safer and more comfortable transportation for all our children. The Raymond Nicolet Trust has made a huge difference through its generosity and continued support to our students. The new school equipment, van, and many various donations have greatly impacted the quality of the lives of our students and brought many happy moments to all ”, confirmed the school director, Mrs Snezana Padezanin-Budimir, being extremely grateful to the Raymond Nicolet Trust long-term support to the school, and students.
The Trust had previously made a donation of £2,000 to the Vuk Karadzic Center in Sombor to renew some of their outdated IT equipment, and shipped also some toys and clothes. The van purchase was the last outstanding action from our 2020 crowdfunding campaign that has taken a bit longer to conclude due to logistics issues linked to the ongoing pandemic. We do never give up.
Many thanks to all our donors, supporters, the EBRD Community Initiative, and our team who altogether managed to raise the £10,000 funds to provide this much-needed van for the present and future children at the Centre.

Раимонд Николет Труст је недавно финансирао куповину комбија од 10.000 фунти који би заменио постојећи који је био стар 20 година и веома непоуздан. Овај комби је неопходан за превоз деце и оброка између две главне локације школе и као и за спољне спортске догађаје.
Центар Вук Караџић у Сомбору сада ће овом новом аквизицијом много лакше функционисати, посебно ако се има у виду да се рад ове установе одвија у два различита објекта.
„Ова донација је обезбедила безбеднији и удобнији превоз за сву нашу децу. Раимонд Николет Труст је направио огромну разлику кроз своју великодушност и континуирану подршку нашим студентима. Нова школска опрема, комби и многе разне донације увелико су утицали на квалитет живота наших ученика и донели много срећних тренутака свима“, потврдила је директорка школе, госпођа Снежана Падежанин-Будимир која је изузетно захвална Фондацији Рејмонд Николет Труста.Ова фондација је дугогодишња подршка школи и ученицима.
Фонд је претходно донирао 2.000 фунти Центру Вук Караџић у Сомбору за обнову неке од застареле информатичке опреме, а испоручио је и неке играчке и одећу. Куповина комбија била је последња изванредна акција из наше кампање за прикупљање средстава за 2020. којој је требало мало дуже да се заврши због логистичких проблема повезаних са текућом пандемијом. Никада не одустајемо.
Велико хвала свим нашим донаторима, присталицама, Иницијативи заједнице ЕБРД-а и нашем тиму који су заједно успели да сакупе 10.000 фунти средстава да обезбеде овај преко потребан комби за садашњу и будућу децу у Центру.
Le RNT a acheté une fourgonnette d’environ £10 000 pour le centre Vuk Karadzic à Sombor
L’association Raymond Nicolet Trust a récemment financé l'achat d'une fourgonnette quasi neuve de £10 000 afin de remplacer celle existante du Centre, agée de 20 ans et très peu fiable. Ce van est indispensable pour assurer le transport des enfants et des repas entre les deux sites principaux de l'école, ainsi que pour les événements sportifs extérieurs.
Le Centre Vuk Karadzic à Sombor fonctionnera désormais beaucoup plus facilement avec cette nouvelle acquisition, d'autant plus que les activités de cette institution sont réalisées sur deux sites différents.
« Ce don a permis un transport plus sûr et plus confortable pour tous nos enfants. L’association Raymond Nicolet a fait une énorme différence par sa générosité et son soutien continu à nos étudiants. Le nouveau matériel scolaire, la camionnette, et de nombreux dons divers ont grandement impacté la qualité de vie de nos élèves et ont apporté de nombreux moments de bonheur à tous », a confirmé la directrice de l'école, Mme Snezana Padezanin-Budimir, extrêmement reconnaissante a l’association Raymond Nicolet Trust pour le soutien à long terme à l'école et aux étudiants.
Le Trust avait précédemment fait un don de £2 000 au centre Vuk Karadzic de Sombor pour renouveler certains de leurs équipements informatiques obsolètes, et avait également expédié des jouets et des vêtements. L'achat de la camionnette était la dernière action en suspens de notre campagne de financement participatif 2020 qui a mis un peu plus de temps à se terminer en raison de problèmes de logistique liés à la pandémie en cours. Nous n'abandonnons jamais.
Un grand merci à tous nos donateurs, sympathisants, l'Initiative communautaire de la EBRD et notre équipe qui ont réussi à collecter les £10 000 de fonds pour fournir cette camionnette indispensable aux enfants actuels et futurs du Centre.
